Broadband - High-Speed Internet access -is NOW AVAILABLE!!! in the Meadows/South Lisle area!We are tired of the Cable and Telephone companies, and have installed a wireless High Speed access network for our local area.This Internet access method is independent of your telephone and/or cable wiring, but will require an installation of some equipment at your premises. This consists of a small (about 4X12 inches) outside antenna/radio combination unit, with a thin, flexible LAN cable leading to your computer or network inside your home or office. This is an ALWAYS-ON connection, meaning there is no dial-up or log-on delay when accessing the internet. Just fire up your web browser, and surf to your favorite site! (And talk on the phone at the same time) Also, once you have broadband, you can use the Internet to provide a second phone line at reasonable cost. Once you experience high-speed, always on internet access, you will not want to go back to painfully slow dial-up access. The Internet will become a much more useful resource for you and your family when it is so easily accessible; and when combined with a home network to allow access from all of your PCs (and other devices), becomes a powerful tool in your life. The Internet is the "Utility" of the 21st Century, and will become as indispensable as electricity has been to the 20th.

Zing LLC is a newly-formed company dedicated to bringing high-speed, always on Internet service to the Meadows and Greater Lisle area. Our first Point Of Presence (POP) is in the Meadows area in unincorporated Lisle, IL. The Company's founder, Rick Herrmann, is a long-time Lisle and Meadows resident. As an engineer with Lucent Technologies for 18 years, and with experience as a Computer Services consultant, Field Service Engineer, and much more, he has the breadth and depth of knowledge, experience, and customer empathy to understand and provide for your needs. He is a volunteer in the community - Leader in BSA Pack 85, Troop 108, and Venture Crew 108; currently President of the Lisle Band Parents Organization; part-time percussionist with various local volunteer musical ensembles. We are members of the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) TechHome division, to keep current with all things new for the home. Also Members of Part-15.org, a professional association of Wireless Internet Service Providers - WISPs - dedicated to professional standards, honesty and cooperation of operators, business integrity, and industry training to support the organization's values.
